Marley was adopted to an awesome family and it seems like things are going great! Here he is on his vacation with his kids and the second photo is him with his dad on his first night in a forever home! His mom Laura updated us, she writes: “We adopted Marley, he’s amazing! Best dog we could have ever chosen!! He’s great with our kids and our kids love him! He’s doing amazing with us! Thanks!!!” We’re so happy to hear this and see how happy Marley is! Thank you to Laura and her family for giving this guy a great life!!!

Vanessa

Remember Vanessa from a few weeks ago? Well, she’s doing awesome in her new, forever home!! Vanessa was technically already adopted when her now family fell in love with her. Fate intervened and Vanessa’s first adopters changed their minds. It seems Vanessa, now Elsa, is where she’s meant to be! It’s very apparent how much her family loves her!! Here’s an update from her new mom Tiffany: “Elsa is her new name. She is doing great. She loves walks, car rides and cuddles. She has the best personality I’ve ever seen in a dog. She’s great with the kids to and they just adore her.” Thank you for the update, Tiffany! We love to hear how the dogs we help are doing in their forever homes! We’re so happy for you, your family, and Elsa 😀

We love him!” So glad to know that Winston is so loved!! Thank you Jennifer for the update, we love hearing how the dogs we help are doing!

Best wishes to him and Andrea in their new life together!

Brinn

Brinn, one of the longest residents at Summit County Animal Control, was adopted by one of our radio listeners! Brinn’s new name for her new life will be Paris! Her human sister, Peyton, picked it out and she is so excited to have another doggie in the family! Madison and Dawn of our behavioral team did the meet and greet between Brinn and her new canine sister and everything went great. We are so so so happy that Brinn/Paris will now know the love and security of a forever home!! She deserves it!

Mindy, a 9 year old German Shepherd from SCAC, has found her forever home!! We are so thankful that this older girl will again know the comfort of a home and the love of a family. She was so nervous in a shelter. Here she is getting a bath with Ron Shannon and her new mom and sister! Thank you to the Farabee family for adopting this sweet girl!

Brindy

Brindy has found her forever home!! This sweet, petite girl came into to SCAC last week and we are so happy that she didn’t have to wait long for a family! Allison Sweeney is her new mama, don’t they look great together?! Thank you Allison for choosing adoption, and best wishes to you and Brindy!

Monet

We are soooo proud of Monet! This girly came to SCAC so scared but she wanted to trust and be someone’s companion. Her new daddy Adam was looking for a dog to train as a service animal for his PTSD and he had an immediate connection with Monet! He sent us this pretty girl’s smile earlier this week saying: “She is wonderful, we have already connected, she is a cuddle bug.” We are so happy for Monet and Adam! Dogs, in themselves, are wonderful therapy. They love you unconditionally and make you smile, even on bad days. Here’s hoping Monet and Adam’s story has brought a smile to your face today! Thank you for sharing Adam, and thank you for giving this beautiful girl a forever home!!
